Activity Manager
overview
As Activity Manager, your main concern is excursions, overseeing the operational side of each trip including entrances to landmarks and museums, restaurant bookings and transport to and from our centre.
It will be your responsibility to ensure our clients are getting the service they expect, and you need to ensure that your team of Activity Leaders are motivated, energised and have the tools they need to deliver.
You will also oversee the onsite activity programme via your Onsite Activity Co-Ordinator.
job
Taking on the role of Activity Manager after 3 summers of working as an Activity Leader was a challenge but hugely rewarding. There is a huge amount of planning and admin involved, and I needed to stay on top of all the different bookings and knowing how many coaches I needed for each trip! But the huge satisfaction of seeing an excursion run well after all the planning, and seeing the happy students return afterwards, is hard to put into words.
